How to Reach Us
Zangla is in one of the most isolated inhabited regions
in the Himalayas. Here’s how to get here.

Fly to Leh
Kushok Bakula Airport. Flights from Delhi (May-Sep)

Travel to Kargil
6-7 hours by road (217 km). Best Jun-Sep

Enter Zanskar
Kargil to Padum: 6-8 hours (240 km)

Reach Zangla
Padum to Zangla: 1-1.5 hours (35 km)
Important Notes
- Altitude: 12,897 ft (3,930m) – Acclimatize first
- Permits: Foreign visitors may need Inner Line Permits
- Best time: June-September
- Winter access: Chadar Trek only (7-10 days)
